Badrinath Yatra pilgrims now have their own mobile app launched by Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat


Uttarakhand Chief Minister Harish Rawat launched mobile application app for Badrinath yatra pilgrims. This mobile app titled as ‘Shubh Badrinath Yatra’. Pilgrims can access details of yatra from Joshimath to Badrinath.


This mobile app made by the he district administration of Chamoli. The mobile application automatically detect their location and give them information from that point of journey.

Mobile App will have information about ATM’s, petrol pumps, hotels, restaurants, potable water, toilets, parking, bus stands, taxi stands and repair shops. Including Emergency and helpline services would be linked to the Google maps. The application would also suggest alternate and emergency routes in case of a landslide or bad weather conditions, officials added.

Chief Minister Rawat said based on the success of the application, the Uttarakhand government would try to extend it to Yamunotri, Gangotri and Kedarnath shrines.
